Edition 22 Self Nomination

As part of Edition 22, we wanted to allow all students the chance to be published. This gives everyone the opportunity to progress projects beyond the confines of course deadlines. Projects from elective courses with architecture-based interventions will also be considered for publication.

If you have won a Carleton award for your project this year and have not yet been contacted for a nomination, please consider submitting your project for a chance to be featured in Edition 22. Awarded projects do not count towards the two project submission limit.

UPDATE: If you've previously been contacted for video stills submission for publication, please consider submitting videos via this email for feature on our Building22 instagram and Facebook. No need to submit image stills again. Prof-nominated videos do not count towards the two project submission limit either.

Submission Requirements 

 - Architecture based project produced between 2021-2022 academic year (including summer 2021)

 - Maximum 2 project entries per student.

 - May submit video along with video stills for a chance for video to be featured on the Building22 instagram.

Format

- One tabloid 11”x17" sheet per project

- Up to 6 images of entered project (please label images)

- Max. 200 word project abstract

- Include:

          - Names of all Students Contributors

          - Course Code and Name (could be a non-architecture elective course with an architecture-based intervention)

          - Course Coordinator, Section Professor,TA

          - Student's Academic Year

          - Mention if project has won awards and which ones they may be.


Please email submit.building22@gmail.com by midnight June 6th, 2022  using subjects line - (First and Last Name) Self-Nomination Edition 22.

Please be informed if selected for consideration, you will be contacted in order to provide additional project material. Projects submitted past the deadline will not be taken into consideration.
